The Crows are an American post-hardcore band formed in 2010 by Chris Kronin.

History[]

After the disbandment of his previous side project (The Kronin Band, no studio albums) Chris was left without a backing band to perform live, he approached what would later become The Crows but they wanted to form a full band, so Chris co-operated, as he wanted to explore a new side to his music.

Style[]

The Crows often have completely nonsensical lyrics, all made up in the mind of William Criddlington and Chris Kronin. The band's songs are known for being infrequent in tempo and overall heaviness, as they'll usually switch tempo or just have a complete overhaul mid-song.

Controversies[]

The band spent a night in jail after they all hung on to the top railing of a stage during a performance in Peru, which resulted in the destruction of the stage. The incident severely injured three people but didn't kill anyone. All three people were fully recovered after six weeks.

Lucas Slim was briefly kicked from the band after a controversial twitter comment, later confirmed to be a joke by Lucas, who was then welcomed back after he admitted his mistake.
