Futuristic Microwave is a track from Windows' second EP Limited Time Offer. While no singles were released from it, a music video was made for this song. The video acted as a demo for the band to determine what direction they wanted to take in future music videos, as well as a video project made by Ken Starr for a class he was taking.

Video[]

The video featured live-action scenes, along with CG animation. The latter two were done by Starr who attended a class for both, this being his thesis.

Shot in Vancouver, the video starts with the band watching TV, rapidly flipping through channels before agreeing there's nothing worth watching. Their attention is soon drawn to a geriatric man who's staring blankly at a microwave. The song then begins, with the band performing in the garage. There're rapid cuts to CG animation of a head exploding inside of a microwave and shots of maggots crawling on a pile of garbage. The video ends with everything revealed to have been something playing on the television, with a cut to the band watching it. They appear to be malnourished and unnaturally thin.
