The Sonic Strikers are an American pop rock band that formed in New York in 1978.

History[]
The band first started as a duo with Sonic the Hedgehog and Miles "Tails" Prower. Sonic was the vocalist and guitarist and Tails was the drummer. After their first album in 1979, "Too Fast for you", Knuckles the Echidna came in as the bassist. Silver the Hedgehog (the lead guitarist) joined the band in the 5th album, "Access granted".
The band achieved mainstream success in 2008 with their single "Jump on" on their quadruple platinum selling album "Eruption". The song was so controversial, it divided the band's fanbase into 2 parts.

The Sonic Strikers are known for having the biggest and most dynamic pyrotechnic effects and fireworks out of any live band.
