Careless Creativity is the debut studio album by artist Barry Hudson, it was released on December 20, 2017.
Background[]
In 2017, Barry Hudson joined Important Records and started working on the album, the first single, called Careless Creativity was released on November 6, 2017 along with her music video, although the song isn't dancing-styled, it peaked #17 on the Billboard Hot 100. When Hudson was announced on most of the media, in a interview he stated that her album will be "sad" although the songs can have danceable instrumentals. On December 1, 2018, the album was made for pre-order, contain 10 songs, which one was removed and changed by other.
Careless Tour[]
Hudson embarked the Careless Tour on Febraury 5, 2018 until June 25, 2018, he performed her original songs along with covers who can fit the album.
Singles[]
Careless Creativity was released as the first and lead single on November 5, 2017, peaking #17 on the Billboard Hot 100.
New York Reality was released as the second single on November 30, 2017, this time the song peaked #9 on the Hot 100.
The last single, called Everybody Needs At Least One Liberty was released on December 15, 2017, the song peaked #6.
Reception[]
Careless Creativity got mixed reactions from Music Critics. Exclaiming the surprise of mix between Soul and Pop, but also the additions of songs that can be considered "generic" but at the same time "original".
Los Angeles Time review exclaimed that the album was hardly to hear but you can found songs that you would repeat and repeat such as Memory Story, New York Reality and Golden Ghost.
